Here come the gulls...
Here goes, first posting in the new blog. This is just a tester posting I guess, but in the near-ish future I hope to update this blog every - every month or so - with some new sketchbook entries, observations, and so on.
What I'd really like to do is upload some of my sketchbook drawings, and communicate my wonder at the amazing natural life (especially birds) on this island. I'm a born and bred town/city dweller and this is the first time I've ever lived 'in the country' - so I think I've got a romantic and somewhat naive relationship to my natural environment - but hey, that's a good thing isn't it?
Anyway, I'm in the process of doing up my website, so watch this space!
